Adaptable for All Seasons
While the ear warmers keep your ears cozy, the visor protects your eye area from dust, wind, or insects. Thanks to the seamless transition from the visor to the helmet edge, your eyes are optimally protected. If the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s generous ventilation openings with the VentCover.
More Protection on E-Bikes
The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict standards of the NTA 8776 certification – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with this certification are tested at much higher impact speeds, offer better protection for the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.
Magnetic and Height-Adjustable Visor
The visor is easily attached using magnets and can be adjusted in height. It reliably protects your eyes from wind, rain, and insects – and can be effortlessly flipped up, removed, or replaced.
Easy Operation Without an App
No smartphone is required to operate the smart ABUS HYP-E. You activate the front and rear lights with the power button on the back of the helmet. Press the button for about one second to turn on the lights. Briefly press again to switch between light modes. Press and hold to turn the lights off.

Der Helm ist total leicht
Der Helm ist total leicht, wenn er auf dem Kopf sitzt. Die Beleuchtung vorne und hinten ist sehr hell und auch die Blinker sieht man sehr, sehr gut. Ich trage eine Brille und auch einen Zopf. Beides ist für diesen Helm, auch mit Visier, überhaupt kein Problem. Bei schlechtem Wetter kann ich die Belüftungsschlitze schließen, so dass mein Kopf trocken bleibt. Auch die mitgelieferten Ohrenschützer halten zusätzlich die Ohren warm. Das Visier beschlägt nicht, was klasse ist. Das Einzige, was mich ein klein bisschen stört, die Fahrgeräusche, z. B. Wind, sind sehr laut. Ansonsten ist der Helm sein Geld wert.

Sehr guter Helm
Den kaufte ich mir, da dieser einer der wenigen zugelassenen Helme für S-Pedelecs ist. Der Helm ist sehr hochwertig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Einen kleinen Punkt gibt es trotzdem: der linke Gurt lässt sich leider nicht weiter in der Länge verstellen, sodass das Schloss nicht genau mittig sitzt. Ist aber Meckern auf hohem Niveau und wird nicht negativ in die Bewertung einfließen.

Toller Helm
Soweit ich das bis jetzt sagen kann, ein toller Helm, der einfach von A–Z durchdacht ist, sowohl aus dem Blickwinkel Sicherheit als auch Tragekomfort. Das Gewicht ist für mich grenzwertig, aber am Ende der Ausstattung geschuldet.
