Accessibility Statement

We want every person to be able to use our online shop without restrictions. That's why we are strongly committed to digital accessibility and continuously work to make our services accessible to everyone. For us, accessibility is a key element in actively promoting inclusion and creating a shopping experience that truly serves all users.

Therefore, we strive to make our website accessible in accordance with the national implementation laws of Directive (EU) 2019/882.

1. Status of Compliance with Requirements

Our website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of BITV 2.0 (German Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance). Some content and features still present barriers, which we are gradually identifying and resolving.

2. Non-accessible Content and Planned Measures

  • PDF documents: Some PDF documents, such as product brochures and user manuals, have not yet been created in an accessible format (PDF/UA standard). These documents are currently difficult to read with assistive technologies.
  • Color contrast: Some user interface elements (e.g. buttons, links, navigation menus) have insufficient color contrast, which can impair readability—especially for users with visual impairments.
Measure: Optimize color contrast according to WCAG 2.1 standards.
  • ARIA attributes: Certain interactive areas currently lack appropriate ARIA attributes, which limits accessibility for screen reader users.
Measure: Implement proper ARIA attributes step by step.
  • Alternative text: Not all images currently include meaningful alternative (alt) text.
Measure: Add descriptive alternative text to all images.
