Adaptable for All Seasons

While the ear warmers keep your ears cozy, the visor protects your eye area from dust, wind, or insects. Thanks to the seamless transition from the visor to the helmet edge, your eyes are optimally protected. If the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s generous ventilation openings with the VentCover.

More Protection on E-Bikes

The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict standards of the NTA 8776 certification – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with this certification are tested at much higher impact speeds, offer better protection for the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.

Magnetic and Height-Adjustable Visor

The visor is easily attached using magnets and can be adjusted in height. It reliably protects your eyes from wind, rain, and insects – and can be effortlessly flipped up, removed, or replaced.

Easy Operation Without an App

No smartphone is required to operate the smart ABUS HYP-E. You activate the front and rear lights with the power button on the back of the helmet. Press the button for about one second to turn on the lights. Briefly press again to switch between light modes. Press and hold to turn the lights off.

Insect Protection Net

An insect protection net keeps flies and other annoying bugs away from your head – all without compromising the helmet’s ventilation.
