Precise Brake Light Function
In the BL.ACE version, you can also activate a brake light: simply slip the included silicone cover over your brake lever to indicate your braking intention as soon as you apply pressure.
Comfort in Any Weather
While the ear warmers keep your ears warm, the visor protects your eyes from dust, wind, and insects. Thanks to the seamless transition from the visor to the helmet edge, your eyes are optimally shielded. If the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s generous ventilation openings using the VentCover.
Enhanced Protection on E-Bikes
The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict requirements of the NTA 8776 standard – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with NTA certification are tested at significantly higher impact speeds, offer improved protection around the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.
Magnetic and Height-Adjustable Visor
The visor attaches easily with magnets and can be adjusted in height. It reliably protects your eyes from wind, rain, and insects – and can be flipped up, removed, or replaced effortlessly.
Easy Operation Without an App
No smartphone is needed to operate the smart ABUS HYP-E. Activate the front and rear lights using the power button on the back of the helmet. Press the button for about one second to turn on the lights. Briefly press to switch between light modes. Press and hold to turn them off again.
Insect Protection Net
An integrated insect net keeps flies and other bugs away from your head – without compromising the helmet's ventilation.
