Precise Brake Light Function

The BL.ACE version also allows you to activate a brake light: simply slip the included silicone cover over the brake lever to signal your braking intention whenever you apply pressure. Additionally, you can trigger a flash function on the helmet’s front light via the lever. The package includes a cover for one brake lever, which can be mounted on the left or right side. If you want to equip both levers with a sensor, find the suitable additional sensor in our shop.

Comfort in Any Weather

While the ear pads keep your ears warm, the visor protects your eyes from dust, wind, or insects. With the seamless transition from visor to helmet edge, your eyes are optimally shielded. If the weather changes, you can easily close the generous ventilation openings using the VentCover.

Extra Protection on E-Bikes

The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict standards of the NTA 8776 – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-Pedelec riders. Helmets meeting NTA standards are tested at much higher impact speeds, offer better protection for the back and sides of the head, and can absorb higher impact forces.

Magnetic and Height-Adjustable Visor

The visor can be easily attached and adjusted in height using magnets. It reliably protects your eyes from wind, rain, and insects – and you can conveniently flip it up, remove, or replace it.

Easy Operation Without an App

No smartphone is required to operate the smart ABUS HYP-E. Activate the front and rear lights using the power button at the back of the helmet. Press and hold for about one second to turn the lights on. A short press switches between lighting modes. A long press turns the lights off.

Insect Protection Mesh

An insect protection mesh keeps flies and other annoying insects away from your head – without affecting the helmet’s ventilation.
