Adaptable for All Seasons
If the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s generous ventilation openings using the VentCover. You can also upgrade the helmet for poor weather conditions. The optionally available ear warmers keep your ears warm, and the optional visor protects your eyes from dust, wind, or insects.
More Protection on Your E-Bike
The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict standards of the NTA 8776 certification – the world’s first safety standard specifically developed for S-pedelec riders. Helmets with this certification are tested at significantly higher impact speeds, provide better protection to the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.
Easy Operation Without an App
No smartphone is needed to control the smart ABUS HYP-E. You activate the front and rear lights with the power button on the back of the helmet. Press the button for about one second to turn the lights on. Press briefly to cycle through light modes. Press and hold to turn the lights off.

Sehr guter Helm
Ich konnte den Helm bis jetzt zwar nur einmal testen, aber der Kauf hat sich gelohnt. Der Helm gibt mir noch mehr Sicherheit. Muss allerdings sagen, dass die Leuchten vermutlich erst im Herbst/Winter zur Geltung kommen werden.

Super Helm
Nach meiner vierten Radtour mit den neuen Helm kam es zu einen Sturz. Ungebremst knallte ich auf meinen Vorderkopf wo der Helm zeigen konnte wie gut er gebaut wurde. Trotz riesigen Druck im Kopf und der Sorge eine große Verletzung zu haben, musste ich feststellen das der Helm super Geschützt hat. Er selber hat nur eine kleine Abschürfung unter den Licht und ist minimal verzogen. Ob er jetzt noch brauchbar ist, habe ich bei Abus erfragt. Warte noch auf Antwort. Hätte ich den Helm nicht aufgehabt, wäre der Sturz sicherlich schlimmer ausgegangen. Meine Brille und meine Nase sind schlimmer dran als der Helm. Da der Helm mir gezeigt hat wie gut er Schützt, werde ich Ihn mir erneut bestellen müssen falls der erst 3 Wochen alte Helm nicht mehr brauchbar sein sollte. Durch meine Erfahrung kann ich den Helm wirklich empfehlen. Die Blinker funktionieren sehr gut, das Bremslicht ist super hell. Das Visier finde ich persönlich nicht gut gelungen da es viel zu weit oben ist und den Wind voll auf meine Augen kommen lässt . Da wäre eine Nachbesserung sinnvoll so wie beim Abus Pedelec 2.0 ACE da ist das Visier super. Toll auch das er ohne eine App super funktioniert. Damit wird man auch bei Dunkelheit gesehen und wahrgenommen. Daher Klare Kaufempfehlung und großes Lob an Abus.
