Adaptable for All Seasons
If the weather changes, you can easily close the helmet’s large ventilation openings using the VentCover. You can also upgrade the helmet for harsher conditions. The optional ear pads keep your ears warm, while the optional visor protects your eyes from dust, wind, and insects.

The ABUS HYP-E meets the strict requirements of the NTA 8776 standard – the world’s first safety standard developed specifically for S-pedelec riders. Helmets certified to the NTA standard are tested at significantly higher impact speeds, offer better protection around the back of the head and temples, and can absorb greater impact forces.
Easy Operation Without an App
No smartphone is required to control the smart ABUS HYP-E. The front and rear lights are activated using the on/off button on the back of the helmet. Press and hold the button for about one second to turn the lights on. Short presses allow you to switch between lighting modes, while a long press turns the lights off.
