Das Design des Basil Icon M Fahrradkorb hebt sich bewußt von den zumeist rechteckigen Standard Stahlkörben ab und bietet durch die recht hohen Seitenwände einen sicheren Stauraum für das zu transportierende Gepäck. Die Frontseite ist so gestaltet, dass der Korb unter den Sattel geschoben werden kann, um eine gute Position auf dem Träger zu ermöglichen. Er wird mit der MIK Adapterplatte geliefert und kann damit schnell und einfach an einen Gepäckträger mit MIK und MIK HD System befestigt werden.
