The Old Man Mountain Atlas Rack Pack 12L was specifically designed for use on cargo racks and offers a well-thought-out alternative to traditional bikepacking seat packs. By mounting the bag directly on a rack, the weight sits much lower on the bike. This improves handling on gravel roads and trails, reduces bag sway, and allows unrestricted use of a dropper seatpost.

Designed for Modern Bikepacking Bikes
Unlike a conventional dry bag, the Atlas Rack Pack was designed from the ground up for use on cargo racks. Its tapered and angled front section creates additional clearance between the rider and the bag. This provides more room for your legs and makes it an excellent choice for bikes with dropper posts or limited clearance between the saddle and rear tire.
Pack Smaller with the Air Release Valve
A standout feature is the integrated air release valve. Excess air can easily be expelled after packing, allowing the contents to be compressed more effectively. This helps keep the bag compact, stable, and secure even when carrying varying loads.
Waterproof and Built for Demanding Conditions
The Atlas Rack Pack is constructed from durable TPU material with fully welded seams, protecting your gear from rain, road spray, and dirt. Hypalon reinforcements at key contact points provide additional abrasion resistance, while internal stiffeners help the bag maintain its shape and remain stable on rough terrain.
