Protection Ratings
- Seat-Pack L & Handlebar-Pack 9 L – IP64: Dustproof and protected against splash water from all directions. For complete protection, the roll closure must be rolled at least 3–4 times.
- Frame-Pack Toptube – IP67: Dustproof and protected against temporary immersion in water (up to 1 m water depth for a maximum of 30 minutes). The waterproof zipper must be completely closed to ensure protection.

Which bikes is the ORTLIEB Bikepacking Set suitable for?
The set is suitable for gravel bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes, trekking bikes and many e-bikes. Thanks to the flexible hook-and-loop and strap attachments, all three bags can be securely mounted on most bicycles without a rack. Carbon frames, carbon handlebars and carbon seat posts are also supported.
Is the entire Bikepacking Set waterproof?
Yes. All three bags reliably protect your gear from rain and dirt. The Seat-Pack and Handlebar-Pack meet the IP64 protection rating and are waterproof against splash water when the roll closure is correctly rolled 3–4 times. The Frame-Pack Toptube even meets the IP67 protection rating and withstands temporary immersion, provided that the zipper is completely closed.
How much storage space does the ORTLIEB Bikepacking Set offer?
The set offers a total storage capacity of 28.5 liters. This allows you to comfortably carry a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, clothing, tools, food supplies and additional gear for multi-day bikepacking trips.
Do I need tools for installation?
No. All three bags are attached to the bike using stable hook-and-loop and strap fasteners. No tools are required for installation.
