Dick und hält nur mäßig
Da es ja nur auf sich selbst hält, muss man den Rahmen damit relativ dick umwickeln, weil das Band selbst relativ dick ist. Das sieht man dann sieht nicht so sauber aus.

Keine gewöhnliche Rahmenschutzfolie
Das Silikonband ist eine einfache und gute Lösung, um den Lack vor Abrieb durch Rahmentaschen zu schützen. Es wird wie Lenkerband gewickelt und haftet auf sich selbst, was ganz gut funktioniert – aber eben nicht ideal ist, wenn man größere Flächen abdecken will. Es schützt zuverlässig vor Staub und Abrieb, lässt sich aber schlecht wiederverwenden, wenn man es einmal entfernt. Für den dauerhaften Wechsel eher unpraktisch, aber für längere Touren ein sehr guter Schutz. Fazit: Tut, was es soll – aber nur, wenn man es für den richtigen Zweck einsetzt.

Robustes, griffiges Tape mit super Schutz – aber nicht wirklich klar. Selbst straff gespannt bleibt es milchig und kann auf dunklen Rahmen ziemlich auffallen, wenn die Taschen ab sind. Die Haftung ist top, hält bombenfest, auch ohne Überlappung, und schützt zuverlässig vor Abrieb und Steinschlag. Wer sein Bike immer mit Taschen fährt oder sich an der Optik nicht stört, bekommt hier ein nahezu unzerstörbares Schutz-Tape.
