Revelate Designs Spinelock Saddle Bag
Stability was the driving element in the design process of the Spinelock Saddle Bag. Thanks to its innovative mounting system, the bag has a low-profile design and sits close underneath the saddle. The bag is packed with functional details and, thanks to its roll-top closure, is naturally waterproof.
The Spinelock mounting system consists of three robust components: an aluminium saddle clamp that is bolted to the saddle rails, an impact-resistant nylon base plate connected to the bag, and a locking pin that connects the two parts. The system is additionally tensioned and secured with three straps.
Saddle compatibility
- Not suitable for carbon saddle rails. Carbon seat posts, however, can be used without any problems.
- Not compatible with dropper seat posts.
- The Spinelock is designed for saddles with classic saddle rails. It may not be compatible with some Brooks models (e.g. B17, B66, B67 and Flyer).
- Based on customer experience: The bag is compatible with, among others, the SQlab 612.
Tyre clearance
- The Spinelock 16L requires at least 24 cm of tyre clearance and 16.4 cm of exposed seat post.
