With the VAUDE Womens Matera Softshell Jacket III, you're well equipped for cooler temperatures and windy conditions. The windproof, breathable fabric protects you from unpleasant wind chill, while the soft fleece lining ensures excellent wearing comfort. The feminine fit and pre-shaped sleeves provide plenty of freedom of movement on the bike – ideal for commuting and longer cycling tours.

- The high stand-up collar with chin guard protects your neck from the wind and prevents chafing from the zipper
- The extended back provides additional coverage while riding
- A silicone grip band at the rear hem prevents the jacket from riding up while cycling
- Two rear pockets offer space for small essentials. An additional mesh compartment provides secure storage for your smartphone
- Pre-shaped sleeves and partially elasticated cuffs ensure a comfortable fit on the bike
- Reflective design stripes on the sleeves and additional reflective design elements improve your visibility
Function meets design
The three-layer softshell construction with integrated membrane is 100% windproof while remaining breathable. The water-repellent outer fabric protects you from light rain and road spray. The stretch properties provide excellent freedom of movement, while the soft fleece lining offers pleasant warmth.
Sustainability you can feel 🌱
The Matera III Softshell Jacket carries the VAUDE Green Shape label and the Green Button certification. The recycled polyester used is certified according to the Global Recycled Standard. VAUDE avoids fluorocarbons (PFAS/PFC) in its water- and dirt-repellent finish. The jacket is also vegan and contains no animal-derived materials.

The main fabric consists of 100% recycled polyester. The integrated membrane is made of 100% polyurethane. The soft inner lining is also made of 100% recycled polyester.

Care instructions
Wash your softshell jacket at 30°C on a gentle cycle. Use a suitable technical detergent and avoid fabric softener. The jacket can be tumble-dried gently at a low temperature. To maintain its water-repellent finish, regular reproofing is recommended. You can find a suitable detergent and waterproofing spray in our shop here.
