Fast, faster, Ortlieb Fork-Pack with Quick-Lock Mount
The waterproof Ortlieb Fork-Pack is a practical storage solution for bikepacking adventures and cycling tours. The compact fork bag weighs only 290 grams in the 4.1 litre version, including the mounting system.
This extremely lightweight bike bag with roll-top closure can be mounted thanks to the QLS mounting system on forks with dedicated threaded inserts as well as on forks without mounting eyelets. The only requirement is a consistent tube diameter of 30 to 42 mm. The Quick-Lock S mount allows the bag to be attached and removed quickly and easily. As expected, the Ortlieb Fork-Pack is sustainably manufactured in Germany from PVC-free nylon fabric.
Mounting instructions:
- Before purchasing, we recommend checking the mounting instructions (PDF).
- The Fork-Pack is mounted either using the threaded inserts on the fork leg or with two metal straps.
- If the fork does not have mounting threads, the fork must have a constant diameter of 30 to 42 mm.
- A free space of at least 150 mm on the fork is required for mounting the adapter. The metal straps must be positioned with a distance of 128 mm between them.
- Not suitable for carbon forks without threaded inserts or with only one threaded insert.

Robust
Robust, wie (fast)immer bei Ortlieb. Die Befestigung der Halterung ohne Gewindelöcher ist etwas fummelig, aber dafür universell einsetzbar. Das An- und Abklicken geht blitzschnell. Zu den Fahreigenschaften kann ich noch nicht viel sagen. Das dürfte vom Gewicht des Inhalts abhängen.
